BFW - January 6th, 7th, 8th - Authentic Self


In times of self loathing, questioning and doubting yourself and your worth it is your 'authentic' self that you attack.

Your 'authentic' self is the wonderful, individual, beautiful, unique and perfectly imperfect person that you actually are (yes you actually are!)

PART ONE
In the past
* Consider circumstances, people, situations and experiences which have trigger the questioning and attacking of your authentic self.
* What feelings, thoughts, impulses and desires did you experience?
* How did you cope in ways which were self attacking?
* What did those negative coping strategies do to your self confidence, self belief and self worth?

PART TWO
In the healing and the NOW
* At what point was there a rupture in your negativity and self attack?
* What brought you to that place of challenging your attacking self?
* What feelings, thoughts, impulses and desires did you experience?

PART THREE
In the NOW and the future
* Embracing your authentic self - who are you?
* Take time to reflect on your talents, strengths, gifts and skills
* Consider your personal qualities, characteristics and personality
* Do you trust your authentic self?
* Do you love your authentic self?
* What would it take for you to be able to say 'I love ME!'
